The Pearl Fishermen Transcription by Jürgen Castan.
Tuning for this transcription is: D# G# C# F# A# C#, which is normal tuning detuned one half-tone. Additionally, the higher e-string is detuned 3 halftones instead of one-half-tone, as done with the other strings. Only this makes the intro playable (well, maybe there're some guitar wizards out there...) Funnily enough, timing for this song is 3/4, so you may dance a waltz on it (didn't recognize that before, but the rhythm felt unusual ever since I heard the song for the first time...) Since I use different tuning for this transcription, I add the fingerings for the chords used inside the tab. Thanks go out to Bronwyn and her boyfriend for the hint about detuning the guitar. 0 is thumb 4 is pinky G#m G#m7 C# 4.Fret 4.Fret (For Intro) C#|-1-|---|-4-| C#|-1-|---|---| C#|---|---|---|-3-| A#|-1-|---|---| A#|-1-|---|---| A#|---|---|-2-|---| F#|-1-|---|---| F#|-1-|---|---| F#|---|-1-|---|---| C#|-1-|---|-3-| C#|-1-|---|-3-| C#|---|---|---|---| G#|-x-|---|---| G#|-x-|---|---| G#|-x-|---|---|---| D#|-x-|---|---| D#|-x-|---|---| D#|-x-|---|---|---| H C# H (For Intro) (For rest of song) (For rest of song) C#|---|-3-|---| C#|---|-1-|---|-4-| C#|---|-3-|---| A#|-1-|---|---| A#|---|---|-3-|---| C#|-1-|---|---| F#|---|---|---| F#|---|-2-|---|---| C#|---|---|---| C#|-x-|---|---| C#|---|---|---|---| C#|---|-2-|---| G#|-x-|---|---| G#|---|---|---|---| C#|-x-|---|---| D#|-x-|---|---| D#|---|---|---|---| C#|-x-|---|---| D#m G# G#9 C#|---|-3-|---| C#|---|-4-|---| C#|---|-3-|---| A#|---|---|---| A#|-1-|---|---| C#|---|---|---| F#|---|---|---| F#|---|-3-|---| C#|---|-2-|---| C#|---|-2-|---| C#|---|-2-|---| C#|---|-1-|---| G#|---|-1-|---| G#|---|---|---| C#|-x-|---|---| D#|-x-|---|---| D#|---|---|---| C#|-x-|---|---| Notes: You may wonder why some finger-positions above are useless (e.g. Finger 1 inside C# [Rest of song]). This is due to the fact that I play standard chords (like my special fingering of a standard D-Chord) and add the pinky for the detuned high e-string. This helps me when playing, maybe some different fingering is better for others...) Bricheno, not identical, since he seems to use variations. Furthermore, I wasn't able to find out the absolute correct ones (Didn't want to tell J. Regan to be quiet so I can hear the guitar). Find out the way you like to play yourself.
